New York High School Basketball - Avoca Central can't hold off Wayland-Cohocton

The Wayland-Cohocton Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Avoca Central Tigers to 45 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Morris for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8.

The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Addison (Addison, NY). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
