Richland Bombers (Richland, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA), 73-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Richland upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Bombers travel to Southridge (Kennewick, WA) to play the Suns in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Suns go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Southridge lost 66-60 in their recent non-league bout against North Central (Spokane, WA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Wenatchee Panthers (Wenatchee, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Davis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 52-31 non-league loss to Kentwood (Covington, WA).
