With the victory, Emery improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host San Juan (Blanding, UT) to play the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Utes play the Logan Grizzlies (Logan, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Uintah will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
