Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM) and the host Navajo Pine Warriors (Navajo, NM), saw Escalante's basketball squad overcome Navajo Pine by a tally of 46-29.
With the victory, Escalante improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to Cuba (Cuba, NM) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Newcomb Skyhawks (Newcomb, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Navajo Pine will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
