The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the San Pasqual Golden Eagles (Escondido, CA) and the visiting Oceanside Pirates (Oceanside, CA), saw San Pasqual's soccer squad get by Oceanside by a margin of 2-1.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlsbad for a non-league game on Thursday, January 4. San Pasqual will play a Lancers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 9-0.
The Pirates (7-1) will now prepare for their game against El Camino (Oceanside, CA). The Wildcats go into the Avocado game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, El Camino was nudged by Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
