The Erie Royals basketball squad (Erie, PA), was crushed 80-30 in Sunday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Peter's Eagles (Staten Island, NY)

With the victory, St. Peter's advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Monday, December 30. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 5-1. Mechanicsburg won 60-48 in their recent league battle against Palmyra (Palmyra, PA)

The Royals now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meadville for a District 10 Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 7. Erie will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 61-58 non-league loss to Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-1.
