Kentucky High School Basketball - Metcalfe County falls to Expression Prep Academy

The Metcalfe County Hornets basketball squad (Edmonton, KY), was outscored 85-74 in Sunday's non-league battle with the visiting Expression Prep Academy Lions (Huntington, WV)

With the victory, Expression Prep Academy advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Russell (Russell, KY) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. The Red Devils enter the battle with a record of 3-7. Russell lost 58-52 in their recent non-league battle against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY)

The Hornets now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton County for a District 16 battle on Friday, January 3. Metcalfe County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 64-45 non-league win over South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-0.
