In Sunday's non-league test, the Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA), by a score of 62-47.

Next, the Blue Devils clash with the Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 test, on Thursday, January 2. Old Forge will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 51-35 non-league win over Scranton (Scranton, PA).

The Rangers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Sullivan County (Laporte, PA). The Griffins come into the Midd-Penn test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Sullivan County overcame Canton (Canton, PA), 53-46, in a non-league test.
