Washington, DC High School Basketball - Veritas Collegiate Academy sneaks past Parkside

The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans (Arlington, VA) basketball edged the host Parkside Eagles (Washington, DC), 55-51 in Sunday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lab University Prep Regional for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Veritas Collegiate Academy will play a Kings team coming off a 74-63 non-league win over Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC). The Kings record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Parkside falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Avalon (Wheaton, MD) to play the Black Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. The Black Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Avalon lost 68-50 in their recent non-league bout against New Hope Academy National (Landover Hills, MD)
