In Sunday's non-league test, the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK) basketball squad defeated the visiting Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), by a score of 51-38.

Next, the Crimson Bears clash with the Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 10. Juneau-Douglas will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record.

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their test against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines come into the 4A Cook Inlet test with a 0-3 record.
