In Friday's non-league outing, the Carter Cowboys (Dallas, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX), by a count of 85-67.
The Cowboys (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, San Angelo Central defeated Eastwood (El Paso, TX), 49-47, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hereford for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 7. Coronado will clash with a Whitefaces squad coming off a 50-45 non-league loss to Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Whitefaces record now stands at 2-3.
