Wynot Blue Devils (Wynot, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Winside Wildcats (Winside, NE), 58-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wynot upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Blue Devils host Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 9. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Guardian Angels Central Catholic won 37-34 in their recent non-league bout against Scotus (Columbus, NE)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 9. Winside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 40-34 non-league win over Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE).
