The Algona Bulldogs basketball team (Algona, IA), was nudged 78-75 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Charles City Comets (Charles City, IA)
The Comets now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Decorah-North Winneshiek for a Northeast Iowa battle on Friday, December 9.
The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Lynx come into the North Central battle with a 1-2 record.
