Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX), 67-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Anderson-Shiro upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Fighting Owls travel to Bellville (Bellville, TX) to play the Brahmas in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Brahmas go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Bellville won 59-30 in their recent non-league bout against Brazos (Wallis, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Latexo Tigers (Latexo, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. North Zulch will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 59-50 non-league win over Still Creek Christian (Bryan, TX).
