Needville Bluejays (Needville, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Angleton Christian Warriors (Angleton, TX), 54-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Needville upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Fort Bend Kempner lost 59-48 in their recent non-league bout against Lee (Baytown, TX)

Next up, the Warriors play the Royal Falcons (Brookshire, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Angleton Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 68-49 non-league loss to South Houston (South Houston, TX).
