The Annie Wright Gators (Tacoma, WA) basketball nipped the host White River Hornets (Buckley, WA), 70-63 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Gators (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Klahowya (Silverdale, WA). The Eagles go into the 1A Nisqually test with a 1-0 record.

The Hornets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Washington for a 2A South Puget Sound test on Tuesday, December 6.
