The Bay Port Pirates basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Appleton North Lightning to 50 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pirates now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fond du Lac for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Bay Port will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 81-68 non-league loss to Arrowhead (Hartland, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-2.
The Lightning (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, WI). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Green Bay Preble prevailed over Green Bay East (Green Bay, WI), 64-26, in a non-league contest.
