The Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) basketball crushed the visiting Bear Creek Grizzlies (Redmond, WA), 80-38 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Borderites (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Red Raiders go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Bellingham walloped Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA), 72-43, in a non-league test.
The Grizzlies now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Seattle Academy for a 1A Emerald Sound test on Tuesday, December 6. Bear Creek will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 73-44 league win over Northwest (Seattle, WA). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
