The Bishop Walsh Spartans basketball team (Cumberland, MD), was overwhelmed 70-49 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes (Bel Aire, KS)

The Buffaloes now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Legacy Early College for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 8. Sunrise Christian Academy will battle a Lions team coming off a 85-42 non-league loss to Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.

The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Calvary Christian Academy (Cresaptown, MD). The come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Calvary Christian Academy trounced Legacy Christian Academy (Stephens City, VA), 58-15, in a non-league battle.
