The Glen Oaks Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Bonnabel Bruins (Kenner, LA), 43-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Comeaux (Lafayette, LA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Comeaux went down by St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA), 58-47, in a non-league test.
The Bruins now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Destrehan for a non-league test on Monday, December 5. Bonnabel will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 51-46 non-league loss to Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
