With the victory, Boyd County improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Fairview (Ashland, KY) to confront the Eagles in a District 64 challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Warriors confront the Belfry Pirates (Belfry, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. East Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
