Brockport Blue Devils (Brockport, NY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Spencerport Rangers (Spencerport, NY), 58-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Brockport upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Irondequoit (Rochester, NY) to play the Eagles in a Section 5 Monroe County II bout on Thursday, December 8. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Rangers play the Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Spencerport will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
