Martin County Cardinals (Inez, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cordia Lions (Hazard, KY), 84-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Martin County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Breathitt County (Jackson, KY) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Breathitt County won 72-54 in their recent non-league bout against Lee County (Beattyville, KY)

Next up, the Lions play the Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Cordia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 75-58 non-league loss to Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY).
