Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Faith Christian Eagles (Lafayette, IN), 56-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Covington upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Western Boone (Thorntown, IN) to clash with the Stars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Western Boone lost 62-39 in their recent non-league bout against Taylor (Kokomo, IN)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Faith Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 60-45 non-league win over Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN).
