Texas High School Basketball - Covington topped by Milford

The Milford Bulldogs basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Covington Owls to 35 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kopperl for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Milford will battle a Eagles team coming off a 30-29 non-league loss to Evant (Evant, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

The Owls (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gholson (Waco, TX). The come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Gholson was defeated by Iredell (Iredell, TX), 42-16, in a non-league contest.
