In Saturday's non-league outing, the Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) basketball squad felled the visiting Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), by a margin of 56-39.
The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Shamokin Area thwarted Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA), 69-54, in a non-league outing.
The Hawkeyes now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Berwick for a non-league outing on Monday, December 5. Hanover Area will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-46 non-league loss to North Penn-Mansfield (Mansfield, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
