Eastern Hills Highlanders (Fort Worth, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Crowley Eagles (Crowley, TX), 56-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eastern Hills upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Azle (Azle, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Azle won 50-44 in their recent non-league bout against North Central Texas Academy (Granbury, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Crowley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Kangaroos come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 65-53 non-league win over Paradise (Paradise, TX).
