Delta Panthers (Delta, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Montpelier Locomotives (Montpelier, OH), 47-45 in a non-league test.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Archbold (Archbold, OH). The Blue Streaks go into the Northwest Ohio test with a 1-2 record.
The Locomotives now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Stryker for a Buckeye Border test on Thursday, December 29.
