Mississippi High School Basketball - Gulfport tops East Jefferson

Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA), 57-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gulfport upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Admirals travel to Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Warriors play the St. Paul's Wolves (Covington, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. East Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 55-32 non-league loss to De La Salle (New Orleans, LA).
