Texas High School Basketball - Kopperl can't hold off Evant

The Evant Elks basketball team scored 30 points and held the visiting Kopperl Eagles to 29 in the Elks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Elks now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Priddy for a 1A Region III District 18 contest on Tuesday, December 20.
The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Milford (Milford, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Milford nudged Covington (Covington, TX), 55-35, in a non-league contest.
