Georgia High School Basketball - Salem thwarts Forest Park

The Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Forest Park Panthers (Forest Park, GA), 47-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Seminoles (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Eastside (Covington, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Eastside notched a victory over Ola (McDonough, GA), 47-45, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Morrow for a AAAAAA Region 3 test on Tuesday, December 6. Forest Park will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 65-61 non-league win over Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-3.
