Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gouverneur Wildcats (Gouverneur, NY) and the visiting Northern Adirondack Bobcats (Ellenburg Depot, NY), saw Gouverneur's basketball squad knock off Northern Adirondack by a tally of 64-47.
With the victory, Gouverneur improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Canton (Canton, NY) to play the Golden Bears in a Section 10 Central challenge on Monday, December 5. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bobcats play the Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Northern Adirondack will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
