Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH), 57-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Scotties travel to Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH) to play the Colts in a Muskingum Valley bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Meadowbrook lost 64-18 in their recent league bout against Sheridan (Thornville, OH)

Next up, the Blue Aces play the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH) in a Licking County - Cardinal bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Granville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Johnnies come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 54-44 non-league loss to St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH).
