The Hadley Luzerne Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Plattsburgh Hornets to 44 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corinth for a Section 2 Adirondack contest on Wednesday, December 7. Hadley Luzerne will battle a Tomahawks team coming off a 48-39 non-league loss to Doane Stuart (Albany, NY). The Tomahawks record now stands at 0-2.

The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Eagles enter the Section 7 Champlain Valley I contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Beekmantown ran past Potsdam (Potsdam, NY), 78-43, in a non-league contest.
