John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC), 64-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, John Marshall upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Justices travel to DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD) to play the Stags in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Stags go into the bout with a record of 2-1. DeMatha won 78-76 in their recent non-league bout against Southern California Academy (Castaic, CA)

Next up, the Golden Hawks play the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Holly Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 64-58 non-league win over Apex (Apex, NC).
