Texas High School Basketball - John Paul II ripped by Sotomayor

December 3, 2022: San Antonio, TX 78254

The Sotomayor Wildcats basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting John Paul II Centurions to 25 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stevens for a 6A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, December 6. Sotomayor will meet a Falcons team coming off a 52-45 non-league win over Lytle (Lytle, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 11-2.

The Centurions (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Robstown (Robstown, TX). The Cottonpickers enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Robstown was routed by Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX), 49-44, in a non-league contest.
