Kimball Cubs (Kimball, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN), 74-72 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kimball upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cubs travel to St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN) to clash with the Johnnies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Johnnies go into the bout with a record of 0-1. St. John's Prep lost 91-49 in their recent non-league bout against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN)

Next up, the Thunder clash with the Maple Lake Irish (Maple Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
