Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors (Austin, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Salado Eagles (Salado, TX), 68-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Raptors travel to Crockett (Austin, TX) to play the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 24 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 0-11. Crockett lost 55-28 in their recent non-league bout against Akins (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Wimberley Texans (Wimberley, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Salado will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Texans come into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 89-37 non-league win over Devine (Devine, TX).
