The Manhattan Indians basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs to 39 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hays for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Manhattan will meet a Indians team coming off a 57-56 non-league win over Hugoton (Hugoton, KS). The Indians record now stands at 2-1.

The Monarchs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hill City (Hill City, KS). The Ringnecks enter the Mid-Continent contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Hill City ran past Ellis (Ellis, KS), 58-32, in a league contest.
