The Sidney Eagles basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Menard Yellowjackets to 19 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bluff Dale for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Sidney will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 62-57 non-league loss to Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-3.

The Yellowjackets (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Water Valley (Water Valley, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Water Valley triumphed over Rochelle (Rochelle, TX), 57-39, in a non-league contest.
