Monessen Greyhounds (Monessen, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ringgold Rams (Monongahela, PA), 65-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monessen upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Greyhounds host Charleroi (Charleroi, PA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Charleroi lost 59-53 in their recent non-league bout against Clairton (Clairton, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Albert Gallatin Colonials (Uniontown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Ringgold will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
