The Rowlett Eagles (Rowlett, TX) basketball nipped the visiting North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX), 44-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Garland (Garland, TX). The Owls go into the 6A Region II District 9 test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Garland was tipped by Forney (Forney, TX), 93-61, in a non-league test.
