Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL), 70-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ridgewood upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Riverside-Brookfield won 65-42 in their recent league bout against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL)

Next up, the Broncos clash with the Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers (Deerfield, IL) in a Chicago Prep bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Walther Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
