Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sheffield Wolverines (Sheffield, PA), 72-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Saegertown upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Titusville (Titusville, PA) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Titusville lost 67-53 in their recent non-league bout against Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Otto-Eldred Terrors (Duke Center, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Sheffield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Terrors go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 62-56 non-league win over Bradford (Bradford, PA).
