The West Union Eagles basketball team (Myrtle, MS), was nudged 67-66 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Saltillo Tigers (Saltillo, MS)
The Tigers now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amory for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 6.
The Eagles (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pine Grove (Ripley, MS). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Pine Grove edged Lafayette (Oxford, MS), 57-51, in a non-league battle.
