In Saturday's non-league outing, the Whitesboro Warriors (Marcy, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Saranac Chiefs (Saranac, NY), by a count of 55-34.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against New Hartford (New Hartford, NY). The Spartans go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley - Colonial outing with a 0-1 record.

The Chiefs now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Queensbury for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 10. Saranac will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Hoosick Falls (Hoosick Falls, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
