Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), 69-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sheldon upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Grant (Sacramento, CA) to clash with the Pacers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Pacers go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Grant lost 52-28 in their recent non-league bout against Campolindo (Moraga, CA)

Next up, the Toreadors clash with the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Sea Hawks go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 58-46 non-league win over George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA).
