In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Gwinn Modeltowners basketball team scored a good 41-31 triumph over the Brimley Bays.
In their next game, the Modeltowners meet the Iron Mountain Mountaineers (Iron Mountain, MI) in a Mid-Peninsula match, on Friday, December 9. Gwinn will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
With the defeat, Brimley moves to 1-1 on the year. The Bays host Munising (Munising, MI) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 13. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 3-0.
