The Martin Warriors basketball team (Arlington, TX), dropped 49-30 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX)
The Elks now possess a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mansfield Summit for a 5A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, December 6. Burleson will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 50-43 non-league win over Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-8.
The Warriors (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Lake Highlands dropped by Royse City (Royse City, TX), 54-29, in a non-league battle.
