The St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Chaminade-Madonna Lions to 18 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cardinal Gibbons for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. St. Thomas Aquinas will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 68-20 non-league win over Deerfield Beach (Deerfield Beach, FL). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-0.
The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Pine Crest triumphed over Carol City (Miami, FL), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
